“A paradox is a statement that is false when it is true and true when it is false” (Lynn Segal).
37°9'16''N / 3°36'39''W represents the geographical location of Granada, Spain, and is also the title of the artwork. The piece consists of 40 (37+3) balloons, fishing lines, a CCFL light (Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamp) as elements that make up the installation's construction. The work also refers to Roland Barthes' idea of the paradox.
